GAME CHANGE
To make the process easier for managers to make game changes, the plan is as follows:
An online form was created to eliminate gathering signatures from teams involved in game changes and then faxing.
Game Change Process
1. The team requiring a change (TRC) identifies possible games for change
2. TRC contacts other teams and gets their verbal or emailed agreement to the change
3. When all teams involved have agreed, TRC contacts rkresack@gmail.com with games involved
a. ie U13-38A and U13-48A
4. An entry with game change codes will be added to the form and sent to the teams involved.
a.from the sample above the code would be U13-38A x U13-48A
5. All teams involved will enter the details in the form to confirm the agreement. I will have a timestamped document to serve as a backup.
6. When all confirmations are received, the game change will be made on the Spordle website which is the official schedule.
7. Teams will be advised by email that the change is complete.
8. If you can't find a suitable change, send me the games you have tried to make work. I will help but if you have already approached teams and they won't agree, there's no point in my doing it again.
LINK to the form. All team names are in a drop down and game ID will be as well.
ALL previous game change rules still apply. You cannot supply practice ice for game changes. U11A and U11AA can make changes between divisions. U13A and U13AA can make changes between divisions. Please do not wait until you are packing to leave on a tournament to look for game changes. Head coaches of teams that fail to appear to play regular season games will be issued major suspensions.
